Dirty Dancing

Just to settle my own curiosity - is there anyone else out there that DIDNT like Dirty Dancing?
I have never met anyone who doesnt and all my friends think I'm crazy not to love it too.
Its just that, I thought it was kind of dull and a tad rubbishy.
Anyone else?

Ah but you see, did you watch it right thru about 20 to 30 times and then actually join in the end sequence with all your mates after a few or 10 glasses of voddy? if not then u are excused. Of course an intense fan would actually write all the Baby dialogue down and then watch it playing the part with johnny, like my daughter lol

Jes I've never liked it or Patrick Swayze for that matter. I've never known what people see him, he leaves me completely cold. Come to think of it, I hardly ever like films that everyone likes- Ghost, for example, Wizard of Oz, Sound of Music or anything with Julia Roberts or Johnny Depp.

One of those films that those bits I've seen have not convinced me to spend my precious time on the film. But then, I'm a guy.

Same with "Grease", but that has the added avoidance factor of a moral that appears to be "become a tart to get your man".
