Most of you won’t remember , but last year we lost £3k in an online property action where the auction house had misrepresented a property. We decided not to proceed with sale , asked for our £3k deposit back and they refused. In fact they got very nasty. I refused to back down and took them to the Propery Ombudsman , who have spent MONTHS investigation every email, phone call, txt etc. Today I got the result - the Property Ombudsman have ruled in our favour and have ordered the auction house to repay us the entire £3k!! Yay!
