best game?

Ok, I am looking for a really good xbox 360 game to buy but i need a very good game because i play halo 2 and that is were the bar is so if you can help me than write.

best game for me for the 360 is battlefield 2.average single player game but totally amazing on live.
dont care for halo 2 but this game keeps me coming back for more.

gears of war looks like it is going to be great
as mattk says there are loads of games due
obviously Halo 3 will be out at some point and there is also going to be Halo Wars an RTS

I agree with you Matt that Battlefield 2 is the business and in my opinion is much better than Halo 2 apart from the dodgy EA Servers that are rubbish! According to most of the mags that i read they mostly reckon that Call of Duty 2 is the best On-line game but i prefer Battlefield!

The thing i dont like with cod 2 is the servers are local hosts ie someone with zero ping who gets no lag whilst everyone has to suffer.

altho ea severs do suck at times and it can be almost impossible tio find an eu server i still prefer those than the cod2 way of dealing with online play.

Well, i don't own an xbox360 myself. But in game they had one up with the game `Test Drive`... The grapics looked amazing compared to other racing games. I would recommend this game to anyone who likes racing/roaming games
