I Need Two Pieces Of Advice Please.

1. How do I get onto the top bunk bed on a ferry and at the same time retain my dignity because the queasy companion lying on the bottom bunk bed says he can't close his eyes or he will be sick.....believe that one if you will but I dare not risk it.....

2. Just how the hell do I get down from the top bunk.......forget dignity....I am past caring......I just can't seem to bend in the right places to get my feet onto the ladder and the now miraculously recovered companion is taking great pleasure in trying to help....when he's not laughing....
So far I have pushed off from the wall with my hands and rolled sideways into his arms...but I don't think his back will take very much of that....even if he does seem to enjoy it...... :-(

That was my worry, Ael......I can wake the dead without being confined in an echoy metal box......but getting into the bunk took so long there was little time for sleep.....
I am now in an apartment with a large, high dining table...I can lie on it, face down as I was on the bunk and with luck perfect the art of getting to the floor in one piece in time for the trip home.......x
