7 Answers
Hi all , i have a problem - as i am a guy with a white complexion, i am thinkin of gettin doves summer glow moisturiser to add a hint of colour to me! , i am not wanting the colour orange, but a nice browny / tan look nuffin drastic! So would it be ok to shower, then apply like moisturiser all over inc face, say for 3/4 nights until a nice colour is achieved, then after that apply every second day! I amm really scared im gonna look a ****! PS does it stain white clothes after it has dried!

I hadnt rubbed it in properly either because i had 2 orange handprints on my tummy. It truly looked like i'd been tangoed. If your appearance worries you that much, i would go for a professional spray on tan, or at the very least something a bit more expensive than the dove stuff (which, by the way, smells VILE) ... i've heard some good stuff about the garnier one/loreal one. Also, don't use the body ones on your face ... you can get face ones
I use it regularly to top up my natural tan and think it gives a great colour if used once a day or once every other day. If you slap it on more than once a day you tend to go a bit orange!
I would advise maybe getting some natural sun in between (if possible) and yes it is suitable for faces!
NB Dove is the best I've tried out of all of these, but the tesco skin wisdom one is v good too!

I was never able to tan - I used to burn badly, turn into a lobster and peel. Not good.
Five years ago I was due to go to Spain and was dreading it.
At the suggestion of friends I had 3 sessions on a sun bed.
It didn't seem to do anything at all! But for the first time ever I tanned within two days of landing in Spain.
Now I have 3 sessions in one week every May/June and I don't have a problem tanning.
I know that sunbeds are supposed to be bad for us, but I don't think 3 sessions a year would be harmful.
I still use sun cream though and moisturise well.
