Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Can any of you wise old birds help me with last weeks skeleton? It was 27a Fool a trainee has a point about. I was sure that it was DOLT for dot (point) and l (trainee) but I see the answer now is DILL!!! Now I know that dill equals fool but I am blowed if I parse the letters Can anyone of you HELP.

Hi Mamyalynne,
I am not convinced that you are correct. 28a can only be FAITHLESS or FRIGHTENS which, even now I can see the answer as FAITHLESS doesn't fit in with 27a clue or even 28a. Back to you for any answer to the problem.

Initially, the clue given for 28a was the one which should have been for 27a. Faithless was correct 28 but no clue was given for it

The original 27 was posted mistakenly although a logical answer could be got from it.

Thank you all for your answers. I hope that next week the Sunday Express gives the low-down in the 'Winners' column and say's that because of the fiasco there will be no winners for the Skeleton of the 8th April 2018. It is the least that they can do bearing in mind the difficulty of the skeleton anyway. So much wasted time for nothing.
