I think its an advert for shredded wheat where all you hear repeated about 20 times a minute is "sarahs mom says..." "sarahs mom eats..." "sarahs moms so great..." UGH...

sorry i disagree.
i have a teenage daughter and she sometimes comes out with things like, 'so and so's mum said this', or, 'so and so's mum is really nice'.
i reply,'really', and, 'good for her',
it's not that my daughter is actually comparing me with someone else, we just find it funny!!

i dont do that with my mum , but i know my friends say

" ash's mum lets her have her own laptop , and ashs mum lets her buy chocalte ( which she dosent )
