Bingo Bob Character

Does anyone remember a British tv series which had a character called Bingo Bob, I think it was a police drama series.

There was no need to be quite so rude to Mamyalynne when she was only trying to help with an answer. The West Wing is hardly rubbish, it has won many awards and is one of the best dramas to come out of the US in a long time. Far better than a lot of the dross that is produced by the UK.
