As I went to get a supermarket trolley to my surprise and delight I discovered that there was already a £1 coin in it. So I looked around and there was no obvious owner, so I used the trolley and after I had finished I kept it . ( free bottle of milk and a packet of malted milk biscuits )
What would you have done ?

there used to be an unemployed chap standing next to the taxi rank waiting to be given the trolley to return to the store about 50 yards away so he would most often be given the trolley and be allowed to keep the £1 he did this all alone through all weathers probably making in excess of £30 a day.
Then after a while another saw his venture and decided to have a piece of the action.
Well the regular taxi users still made sure the original collector got the trolley but occasionally the new upstart would muscle in and grab the trolley before the giver had a chance to even turn around.
let me tell you I spent many hours being entertained sat on the wall opposite it eventually came to fisty cuffs and the security started to move them on ,but they used to scramble and squabble like mad

when I said hours snag I meant in total For Funks Sake not all at once lol
it was a convenient wall where many sat to eat their fish and chip lunch before subway
