When I start Facebook, it keeps asking me to review my settings. It says I have until 25 May to do this, is this genuine?

I've never had that but I do get posts from Facebook saying 'we care about your security'

Just ignore the message and check your settings out.
I am thinking it us genuine due to the recent data problem and the changes to EU data management law.
Yes, it's genuine. Review your settings and you won't get that message again.

It's in line with GDPR regulation coming into affect on 25th May, and no doubt to do wit Zuckerberg's hearing a few weeks ago.
Yes agree with above post, I've had one recently.
I recently got an email saying,
'Please accept our updated Terms by 25 May to continue using Facebook'
but haven't done so as yet as wondered if it was genuine.
Don't go via an email as there is a risk it could be spam - especially if you have to log in via a link in the email.

Sort your settings when you're logged into Facebook directly, or on the app. You'll have a notification to do so.
Yes genuine due to change in new data law.
I done mine yesterday or I wouldn't get any peace!
I was worried by this, because I don't hit buttons for things I don't understand, but after advice I did and it's been fine.
