Hi


Does anyone know what Joseph's Well used to be in Leeds, Its near the Claredeon Wing at the LGI. Its very nice inside, old fashioned inside making me think it was for the rich many years ago.


Ive looked on the internet but can not find anything about it.

Hi,

Josephs Well used to be a massive clothing factory, there were a number of such large, impressive temples to commerce in Leeds, many have since disappeared, though one or two gems can still be found. The Well closed in the 1960's and was later redeveloped into offices for multiple business use, plus of course the popular pub and gig venue!!!
