Oh, I've just asked that nice Mr Google for some help. He's told me that Chrome now incorporates 'user profiles', so that different people using the same computer can each have their own bookmarks and settings within Chrome:

It seems (from reading other links provided by that nice Mr Google) that if Chrome doesn't know what to call its primary user then they become 'Person1' by default.

Yes my daughter pays for us to share her account with our own username amongst others. You have to be careful though, her ex left her and then used her Netflix to watch incessantly with his new girlfriend :-) She didn't find out for months (just needed a password change).

I'm still confused. Does that mean that you're still currently using Chrome (but about to desert it) or that you've already switched to IE? If it's the former, 'Person1' makes sense; if it's the latter I'm really confused!

Prudie - my ex gave us a TV when he moved back to Ireland and left Netflix logged in. I was so tempted to watch loads of chic flixs on it. I didn't though, he's a nice man and I realised if his wife seen what he'd been watching she'd think he was watching with another woman (he works away)

Ummm, on Crome I can only see the top half of a page....here, on FB, and in email.

I've experienced the 'top half of a page only' problem in Firefox. The solution was to clear the cache. So there's a good chance that the same solution will work in Chrome:

Perhaps you can change "Person1" to "Keep your hands off my browser" in the Chrome settings ?
