Possibly, but I've known social workers (and others with face-to-face contact with the public) who've dreaded contact with certain clients because
(a) they'd always ask for help ;
(b) they'd then always reject the help that's on offer ; and
(c) they'd then loudly criticise the relevant service for failing to help them.

As I saw it, Desktop seemed to fit into that mould.

(For the record though, I was never one of the people who suspended her. I regarded her as 'immensely irritating' but never actually as 'offensive').
