After a break i have tried to relight my boiler. The pilot lights up the the main burner as it should but everything switches off after 30 secs any ideas on the cause?

Really sorry, I was going to suggest that your oil tank may be empty without you realising (happened to me) ...

in our old house we had a worcester combi boiler which behaved as you describe yours.and was barely 18months old. we needed a new control panel which cost us about �100( just for the part!)

i wish we had british gas 3 star cover like we do now parts and labour wouldve been covered
