can you help please.is it possible to have two different internet providers on one computer,cheers

Not with Broadband as far as I know as it is tied to your number/line.

Dial up access can use multiple ISPs.
You could have broadband through your telephone line, such as BT broadband and cable broadband, such as Telewest Blueyonder.

But why would you want to?
You can have, for example, AOL and Internet Explorer on your machine and use them both at the same time, but you would only be paying for AOL.
rufio - internet explorer is a browser along with firefox, opera and others.

It is not an internet service provider.
For two broadband providers, you'd need two ADSL modems. And quite possibly two phone lines (not sure about this bit).
