Quick Start E-Type
Did anyone notice how quickly Harry got away in that E-Type Jaguar? Having closed his door, he briefly said something to her and they were away. There didn't seem time to start the engine, de-clutch, engage first and move.
I think the engine must have been running already, (the film was silent I think) it would have been something of an embarrassment had it not started first time. Those big Jaguar engines had to spin a bit anyway before firing up, as I remember.

The drive train (batteries, motors, etc) same space, but slightly lower weight than the original, so better performance, but same handling as the original.
Jaguar says they might make it a commercial car, depending on demand.
They could not have had a better launch platform :)
Brilliant marketing/product placement to show off classic British design combined with cutting-edge technology.

Hmm! - I confess I didn't watch any of the wedding at all, in fact that bit of film was all I saw - hard to avoid. Still, if it was made at Browns Lane I guess I'll have to put my purest views to one side.
I never owned an E-Type, but have had Mark 1s and Mark 2s I I have to say, this seems like a Jaguar for Cissies though.
