Systemic Scherosis
3 Answers
An lady who I play bridge with has developed this awful condition in her later years. The worst part of the condition at the moment is her calcified fingertips. She was wondering if anyone on here has any knowledge of how she could get some relief with her fingers as they are painful 24 hours a day. She would prefer not to take drugs if there is an alternative. Thanks.

Your friend has developed a particularly nasty complication of Scleroderma which is called Calcinosis which causes pain and is particularly challenging to treat.
Ibuprofen (Nsaids) steroids and even stronger pain killers may be required.
There is NO no drug treatment for your friends condition.
