Outlook. Totally Messed Up My Email.
6 Answers
I was trying to delete a pile of recent messages, and accidentally marked all as unread. All 6,627 messages (!).
Yes, I know I should have been deleting them as I went along but now I have a total nightmare.
Spent the last fifteen minutes deleting them all by hand. Still in the 6,000 range, by a long shot. Is there any way, short of deleting everything, that I can speed up this process.
It is insane.

In my inbox, right at the top where it says "focused" and "other" - above this is, you have, "new"; "delete all" and mark all as read".
I'm assuming "delete all" will delete everything in the folder that you're in :)
If, for some reason, you don't want to delete everything in the selected folder, to the left of "focused" is a tick box ,"select all items in view" which will help speed up the deleting process.
The tick box might not be visible - you need to hover the cursor over it (just to the left of focused) for it to show up.
