Weight loss pills

Has anyone ever used weight loss pills in order to get rid of the flab. I'm about 4 stone overweight due to giving up smoking last year.
I was just browsing the Argos catalogue and there are several "fat busting" pills for sale.
Any comments on them ?.....i'm starting to get desperate as i can't seem to stick to any diet as i just love food and a few beers....although i appreciate i would have to revise my dietry intake !!!

I (so far) lost 43lbs (since February) and its still coming off. Just change the way you eat, keep it reasonably low fat and do a bit of exercise. If you can get to a meeting you should try it - everyone is really supportive. Do you think I should get a job as their PR?!! lol
Joking aside go for it and good luck x

Go to your GP. Most surgeries now have a a GP practice nurse who will give you support and tips on how to lose weight They put you into a programme whereby you go every fortnight to be weighed.I did it and it's the best thing I could have done She was very supportive ..Have now lost three stone, back to my normal weight for my height and build and feel much better.Alcohol is very fattening..it's just empty calories.Don't waste your money on these tablets. Cut out the saturated fat ,eat more fruit and veg, don't snack between meals ,eat porridge for breakfast. Combine this with walking and swimming and it will drop off.You have to put your mind to it.I could never go back to stuffing my face with cakes and pastries .Absolutely wonderful to be able to go and buy a size 12 pair of jeans ..much nicer than a chocolate bar !!
First of all, congratulations on giving up smoking.
You can get tablets from the doctors and if you're desperate it may help kickstart you, but as everyone's said, exercise and healthy eating is the answer.
Have you tried sugar-free chewing gum to give you something to chew on, but without the calories.

Phase 2 work for me, follow a healthy calorie diet, exercise (i'm meant to say ha !) I do try ! but these tablets are starch blockers, and if taken before i carbohydrate meal, absorb and pass through 66% of calories, at my 2 thinnest times in the past year (its not easy to rememeber all the time) i was taking these, and dont worry they are totally natural and made from a white bean thats been tested and proved to absorb these calories, no bull, they work for me, a carb lover unfortunatly !
