I once had a youth pastor tell me you can tell a lot about a person by what they throw away in the trash. Meaning like garbagemen know more about your problems than therapists. What do you personally think about this?
I take my wine bottles to a nearby bottle bank rather than let the neighbours see the extent of my drinking. There could well be something in that theory.
I have heard of people taking expensive , top name , wine and Spirit bottles out of other people's bins and putting them in their own ,so they look 'Posher' than they really are. I mean would you want people to think that you can only afford cheap cider , when you can give the impression of being rich by chucking in some Premier Cru vintage wine bottles, or 50 year old single malt whiskey bottles ?
No mercy, I do that with supermarket own brand breakfast cereal . When we have the grandkids to stay they will only eat the highly advertised 'brand name' product. So I put Tesco own label 'Choco snaps' in a Coco Pops box. They eat them and never complain, but I save 1/2 the price. I also buy supermarket tea bags for my wife but tell her they are 'PG Tips' she has never once known the difference. Again they are less than 1/2 the price.
The lengths some people go to ,,, saying that I know a few who would worry what the neighbours though. My tip find neighbours worse than you. At least my bin wasnt overflowing with lambrusco bottles and expensive whisky bottles tend to be nice shapes and are usually recycled for making flavoured oils. or at least they used to be
