Loose Women Plumbing New Depths
55 Answers
In recent times ITVs Loose Women has gotten increasingly low-grade, featuring heavily the likes of Katie Price, countless reality stars and trailer trash. Today, despite the fact that many viewers will have been eating lunch, they discussed vaginas and (separately) urinating (it's okay AB editor, those very words were used numerous times, so if it's suitable for their audience....). Are there no limits to which they won't stoop? And why are supposedly intelligent people like Jane Moore, Janet Street Porter and Ruth Langsford staying with that programme....other than for the money?

I dislike reality TV of which she is a huge part, and I do agree that by and large it doesn't have a great influence on teenagers etc, however she's extremely successful, entirely self made, very charitable, devoted to her children and family, and not a snob about her background so in that regard I do consider her a good role model, and I couldn't care less that she's an ex topless model. I don't watch the programme to judge it tbh but those are my observations about her personally, more fool Hello Magazine, Daily Mail etc if they line her pockets, and best of luck to her relieving them of their money.
I don't think necessarily appearing on a TV show designates her a poor mother though Anne, some families love that kind of thing, some don't. If I had a child I'd keep it out of the limelight personally unless it wanted to be something relevant to it being in the limelight, but then maybe her kids do, it does tend to run in families being in the media.
I don't think tbh her eldest son is in a position to fully appreciate his 'celebrity' or not, but I do know that Katie Price being so bold and brave about her son's disabilities has shaken a lot of taboos that other people felt about the profoundly disabled, and equally why shouldn't he be on TV for that matter?

I remember when she loved into the country village where she lives, one of the Sunday papers smeared her saying she was playing at being a country woman, messing around with horses and not welcome by the locals.
There was a massive protest in the village from said locals who confirmed that she was really nice, fitted in very well and was most welcome, and also she was an excellent horsewoman who rode, exercised and cared for her horses as well as anyone, and they were very happy to have her in their community.
