Why are dreams so random?

I had the most bizzare dream last night it contianed completely unconnected people and was so random!!

Can anyone please tell me some more information on dreams especially how dreams are created ???

There's lots of theories on dreams, generally speaking I think they're the brains way of sorting out all the things that have happened that day. Subconsciously they also offer you an insight in to what's worrying you if you go in for a bit of dream interpretation too I think.

Well last night I dreamt that I was at home and looking out of my bedroom window and there was a cow in the street (I live in a town centre). The cow then charged at my car and jumped onto the bonnet and roof before running off.

I haven't seen any cows for ages and I'm not worried about them so where did that one come from? Very strange!

when i wak up and think aboput my dreams it just the small things that are there, my mum was watching sumat with robert di niro and al pacino she thinks theyre ace, anyway in the dream i was in ausralia with rob di niro and we went to see als gang to do a deal but then i shot him and he shot me we had to go to a hospital that was a church and you had to pay the priest to heal you but on the way all the buildings were burning and i had abow and arrow and was shooting it into the buildings (ithink that bit came from a game) but when i woke up i gabbed my belly to chek it haddent been shot that was the weirdest dream ever!
