What is the best internet provider?

Im going to be moving into a new house and want ideas on what is the best internet provider. I've always had BT internet and had no problems so far. But what i want to know is what is the cheapest and are there any special offers on at the moment.
p.s i want to stay clear of N-T-HELL

I believe you get what you pay for - once i got my BT broadband set up, which was a nightmare I have to say - I've had faultless service since, and excellent backup from the support staff.
If you are happy with BT, stick to them.

Im with supanet which is universally reviled, but have had no problems whatsoever and good speeds with no download restrictions.

Im currently with NTL and had no problems with them.... apart from around 11pm each night the internet seems to die for about 30mins.
Other than that, ive heard good things about the free orange broadband. Im was very sceptical of orange when it was first announced but from what ive heard from the lads at work its excellent. The download/upload speeds are great. There are no problems with disconnecting etc. Only problem is you need to have an orange contract phone!
