Had sports day for the things this afternoon so had plenty of time to think and I hit upon the 'brilliant' idea of getting enough lettered 10p coins to spell each of their names in a frame for Christmas (fortunately their names are either short or they use the shortened form). There's no way I'm going to get all the letters I need in my change from the village shop so I decided to start buying some from eBay, unfortunately I'm tight so I've set myself a budget of £2 posted per coin - I've only managed to get 3 out of 20, good job I've got too much time on my hands to get the rest :)
I didn't know these existed- I rarely use cash so don't recall seeing any- but it sounds a good idea if you can get the coins without paying too much. Not sure if I'll bother with Llywyllyn though
Got my first coin today - it's really sweet (E for English breakfast) and so shiney (it's an uncirculated coin). I've decided to up the ante and put a Lego minifigure in the frame that looks vaguely like each child (yes, I do have too much time on my hands).
