M60 Junction 2

Does anyone regularly travel past this junction? Just wondered if the new traffic lights on the slip road made it any better for you. I use the slip road and couldn't see the point at first but now think it is easier to get on because there are not as many cars all trying to merge at the same time.

I would say for me it does. I commute from J23 Ashton-U-Lyne towards the Chester and it certainly helps when you have to move across inside onto the two slip lanes to join the M56.

Hi, I don't use this junction but same system is on J22 M6.My view is that they are a waste of time and money. When they are on, they are on green for 2 seconds !! Loads of cars are ignoring them and they are creating back-logs up the slip road onto the roundabout - all because drivers can't use commonsense when entering onto a motorway. IMO.
