My cat is being sick...
4 Answers
... does anyone know why? He has been sick twice in the last two days, straight after eating. Apart from this he seems fine (he's 18mths old) - I am guessing it might just be the heat? Should I call the vet just to be on the safe side, or wait a couple of days and see?

It could be a number of things - it may be just the heat but it could be something more serious like an obstruction somewhere along the gut. Best take him to the vet just to be sure!

my cat does this now and again. does your cat eat really fast? he might just be eating too quick. keep him in the cool and change his food for a day. tin of tuna or something. if it still does it call the vets. also feel down his throat and stomach to make sure he hasnt got a blockage or a stuck hairball.
Hi, I have two cats and one is always being constantly sick after eating her food. I have taken her to the vets a couple of times to get her checked out and nothing appears to be wrong, the vet said that some cats just do this. He did xray her to make sure that she had no blockage anywhere and also checked her throat for soreness/infection as a result of constantly bringing up her food, but she was fine. My advice would be not to worry too much, but take him to the vet for a checkup anyway.
