As I've said before on AB (probably more than once!), I wish the newspapers that publish anonymous crosswords - Times, Telegraph, Mail - would start to use pseudonyms,or even real names like The Sunday Times, so we know before starting who it is we're doing battle with. If today's Mail had a setter's name, then you'd know next time it was set by them that it would be a good test....
For example, many of us on AB love having a tussle with Dean Mayer in The Sunday Times, every 3rd Sunday; and sometimes anonymous crosswords in other newspapers feel like one of his, but there's no way of knowing.
