Decided to have cereal with chopped banana today. I can't drink milk so always have soya milk on cereal.
Put cereal in bowl, chopped banana on top. Opened carton of soya milk, at same time thinking they have changed packaging. Poured it over dish then realised it wasn't soya milk but thick soya cream.
Fished bananas out and rinsed them under the tap. Strained the cereal in a sieve then gave a quick rinse under tap. Opened correct carton and reassembled everything. It tasted ok. I put the sieved cream in a dish for visiting cat.
She wouldn't drink it but she is the fussiest cat I have ever come across.
Checked it later on, still there but two tiny birds feathers floating in it!

Only an hour to go before Fri/13 is over. Next one won't be till August 2019. Sometimes you can get as many as three in a year.

Perish the thought Jackdaw33!
You get soya cream from birds?
Unless it is a leap year then if Fri/13 should occur in February then it will be the same in March and August.
I live in a sheltered housing complex. The flats are numbered 1 - 30 but there is no number 13.
Should've left it and treated yourself to a creamy breakfast.

Old Geezer I could not have eaten it. I do not like cream
And who would eat cereal with thick cream on it. Yuk!
I used to eat porridge oats with double cream and molasses sugar...yummy.
Why did you have soya cream if you don't like it?
Question Author
I picked it up by mistake.
Maybe you would have liked it better than real cream?
Anyway, Fri/13 is over now. You have a full 13 months before you need to panic again.

Thank heavens!
