Sharp Microwave Convection Oven

I have just taken delivery of this new oven, it is just like my last one except that it has solid trays instead of the open oven shelves that I am used to. I don't get how the hot air can circulate when in convection mode with these shelves in place especially when two are needed when baking. Can anyone help please?

The manual don't seem to say anything about the difference solid trays make, just when to use them woofgang.

Providing the trays aren't an air-tight fit you should be OK I would think - give it a go and see.
