How Can I Find A Death Record With Little Information?

I'm trying to find death records of a specific person. This information was passed down for over 100 years, so some might be flawed. Her first name was Claire, her mother was born in Scotland and her father in Ireland. She had an older sister, but I'm not sure of any other siblings, there's speculation of a brother but I wouldn't include that in the search. I have reason to believe that they lived in England at some point and most likely Ireland and Scotland, but I'm unsure. She was born 1800 or later and died 1899 or before, being alive in the Victorian era (but it's unknown for how long) and she was under 30 when she died. She was never married, her mother died before her and she died before her father, being stabbed in the stomach or back. I also know how she roughly looked like, but I don't believe they had records of hair and eye colours. There are some stories and details I know of her life, but they most likely wouldn't be in records. Is there any way of finding her records?

Sounds impossible to me. You could repeat all the above on as many Genealogy internet forums as you could find, but it's a desperately long shot.

I reiterate what jth says. What you have said would leave the hardened genealogist cold. Tell her whole story. Those of us with experience might be able to find her from the slightest detail but on what you have said no chance......

I do a fair bit of geneaology work and the information that you give would gives results in the 100s - perhaps you could add some connections that you are reasonably certain of.

I can't find a website that I can put the information in. If anyone could suggest a website that I can put all the information I have of her parents, her, and her sister, that would be greatly appreciated. The websites I have come across don't allow me to put in parent information like place of birth, only names (that I don't have). As for more details of her life, I just know useless details relative to records, like little stories that have been passed down, unless there would be records of things like who was middle class or if someone was a prostitute.

there were newspapers back then so it might be in a local archive probably still on microfilm. Something like a stabbing could have been reported, but it's a long shot.

agree with rowan you need to do some sort of search for claire+stabbed or something like that, those seem to be the most clearcut distinguishing features of her life.

I looked at the newspaper website and didn't find anything. I searched for Claire stabbed and prostitute stabbed. Someone requested her full story, so here it is. It's unknown how much is true vs legend and how much would be reported:
Her name was Claire, light orange hair and light green eyes, pale skin, middle class. She was feisty, had a sense of fashion, and didn't care much for the restrictions placed at the time. Her mother was born in Scotland and father in Ireland, she had an older sister. She went between Ireland and Scotland a lot to visit family as a kid. She lived in England during the Victorian era (born 1800+, died 1819-1899). She never got married because she refused to. Her mother died, her father turned to alcohol and they eventually had financial struggles. She turned to prostitution, the community church didn't like her very much. Eventually, her aunt visited and stabbed her for what a disgrace she was seen as (you can tell how much of a trouble maker she must have been seen as at the time), dying before the age of 30.

sorry that didn't help. The thing is, her name and her death are quite possibly the only elements that might have got into the public record; things like alcoholism and prostitution and hair colour are basically matters of family lore, and it's very hard to trace such things unless you can find someone else, maybe a distant relative, who's heard more of the lore than you have. Very tricky if you aren't even sure what country it was in. (Incidentally, it would have to have been well after 1819.) Good luck.
