it is like putting water balloons up against fire hoses, katusha rockets are homemade, they've got bits of rusty nuts and bolts and old ball bearings inside them. like bim says they are fighting f-i6's. hezzbollah are lebanese citizens, who do you think drove out the israeli's in 1982. the media would try and suggest they are terrorists imported from iran and syria and it is just not true. and as the u.s. did not pay the 20 billion in reparations that was agreed to in vietnam(instead came up with the m.i.a. tale) i would not imagine israel would consider paying damages to lebanon as they didn't last time.
Israel is not targetting Lebanese civilians, they are targetting the Hezbollah who use civilian areas to hide out in, thus putting their OWN people at risk (human shields- doesn't that remind you of someone else?). Why do they bring the war to their own civilians? The other Arab countries constantly protest their full support for the Hezbollah, so why don't they pay up and donate some of their vast amounts of oil money for humanitarin instead of military support ?
It was meant to be a bit toungue in cheek... the point i was trying to make was that the Isreali government have repeatedly stated that they have no problem with innocent civilians and that their actions will ultimately amke the pace safer for the Lebanese people.... therefore they must surely be willing to give shelter to the same innocent civilians who are fleeing for their lives???
