I'm getting used to working out questions now but I am struggling with these - and no-one else has asked, so I am wondering why?

Help please

3. Cook superbly (8) begins with an A or B
6. Either Robin, Maurice or Barry? (7) Obviously something to do with
the Beegees but the answer must begin B between Bi and Bu...
...could it be Brother?
14. Dog's dinner? (6) begins with C or D
15. Twinkler in something chewed (7) begins with a C or D
27. Set down quiet about a partner of Sonny (3,8) Obviously has Cher
in the answer and a P for quiet?

Sorry to be so thick, but I would like some help or clues, please :o)

Oh thank you everyone, the answers are SO easy once you see them!! I think I was going along the wrong track again :o(
Only have the last question about 'What's significant about the answers?' to ponder on now

Thank you all
That question has been puzzling us for months but no-one has come up with a plausible answer. It can't be that they are in alphabetical order as you already know that.

Davemano said 'Helping the Institutes' on 3rd Feb but I'm not sure how that fits in with the answers of Vicars and Tarts?
WI's may make Pies though!! :o)
