Perhaps This Is One Reason The So-Called "anti-Trump Brigade" Take Such A Stance.
Yet another U-Turn from Dear Donald.

No doubt the clamorous pro-Trump people will have excuses ready - or perhaps designate it fake news, in the true style of their idol.

// That would be saying he was right in the first place. //
nope - misclaiming he misspoke includes the possibility he lied - as well as he was right. (which he has already claimed actually)
Double negatives - terribly misleading -
I have already asked the deep thinkers on AB to tell me what
'I couldnt see why the Russians wouldnt (interfere)' means
but the deep thinkers are still er thinking deeply about that one.
( "I didnt say I didnt" does NOT mean "I said I did" - I cd have been silent)
andy-hughes, //nonsense ……rather like the people who use it - frequently.//
Haha! How true. You introduced the word unto this particular conversation I believe.
//That's the thing about nonsense, it's a gift that just keeps giving.//
It is indeed. :o)
Peter Pedant dear, you’re confused again, Would a lie down help?

I'm not sure Trump even understands the difference between truth and lies to be honest. He just seem to think that whatever it is he's saying at any given moment must be right, because he's saying it.
I thought this when he was sucking up to Putin in the press conference the other day, that it's all meaningless anyway because tomorrow he'll be saying the opposite.

Ludwig - His behaviour suggests that you are right.
President Trump honestly seems to work on the principle that he can 'un-say' things, which, as President, he simply cannot do.
There must be dozens of Whitehouse staff briefing him before he says anything, then getting him on his own to tell him that he can't say what he said when he ignored their briefing, and he must correct what he said.
It must be exhausting!
