How can i help her? part 1

I have just had a spa weekend with a mate who has been very down , over the w/e i found out that she tolerates her partner(who is a pillock) for the sake of her kids who adore him(he is not their natural father) and who she thinks is cheating on her. As long as i have known her she has been cheated on by whoever she is dating she is a little clingy and very large build and says that noone decent will want her she diets all the time but despite us eating the same over the w/e she put on 4lb i lost 2lb so i think something is wrong there, she hates her job and has other mates who take advantage of her good nature when a loan or babysitter etc is needed
