can anyone recommend a food processor/blender for about £50, it will used for cutting/slicing/chopping vegetables and blending vegetables to make soups.

I've got 2 ninjas...very happy with both.
One is the £49.99 one. The second, bought on eBay, is similar to the £29.99 model. I wanted something powerful enough to make seed butter with...works brilliantly.

A friend of mine in Belgium treated herself to the Magimix Cook Expert. It is certainly out of this world! The food she produced from it so effortlessly was quite fantastic. But then, so is the price; around £1150.00. Not yet being sold in the UK but you can get it on-line.
