margaret - I haven't seen the film The Light Between Oceans, but I've read the book and blubbed like a baby.

The film that always makes me cry is Field of Dreams.

I'm pretty resiliant at not crying with films but I cannot watch 'My Girl' it completely destroys me, the bit where she loses it and says he needs his glasses reduce me to a complete sobbing wreck.

Oh, me too! In fact, I avoid watching it - sobbing in front of my grown up daughters is not a good look!!

Third Star - a funny and moving film starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Tom Burke. Highly recommend it.
