You know when your lovely neighbours move away and you worry about the newbies....

I had only had a brief hello with the new chap as he posted on lamp posts about his missing cat which had escaped after a week being kept in its new home...

Yesterday I saw an ambulance take his wife to hospital so I put a card through his door saying I was here if he needed anything....

He came across tonight to thank me and he is the most charming and interesting chap.....he'll be a super neighbour and.......his cat came back!!!!

It is, Marval......and yes, the cat coming back was good for them both.....seems it hasn't even gone outside since..... :-)

I can imagine he thought you were a lovely neighbour to have too, gness, wish you lived near me.......oh, stop and think a minute Helen, she is a bit accident/disaster prone.........

It's fantastic to get a good neighbour Gness. Had one call yesterday for a signature on a legal document. Known each other for years.
