Not intentionally, just gone right of eating animal products these last few weeks. Think its something to do with the heat wave that weve had and just wanting to eat fruit, salads and veg. (lots of it). Now Im finding that I cant stand the thought of eating meat/fish and while ive never been a milk drinker I did love my cheese...which Ive only consumed once in 2 weeks. The thing is Ive also noticed increased energy, better sleep (and needing less of it) and certainly no constipation that plagued me due to meds bunging me up.

Ive read many threads on here re: different diets and Ive been doing lots of research on plant based diets, pro and anti. might be just a phase (as I said, due to the recent heat) but must admit that I do feel good eating this way.

Todays eats...
Banana, oats, chia seeds, spinach, almond milk (Smoothie)
Pear
Homemade butternut squash soup with onion and herbs, one piece of bread
Punnet of blueberries
Pack of cashews
Cous cous, mixed veg, mushrooms, sweet n sour sauce
Small pack of olives.

Anything wrong (or right) eating like this in your opinion??
Thanks.

Turning vegetarian is quite easy.

Vegan is a lot harder.

Personally I couldn't give up cheese, but meat - no problem.

True Spath. Ive researched plant based diets to death, the pros and the cons, the fors and againsts. Seems to be doing me good for the time being anyway.

I once had a vegetarian girlfriend who made some stunning (and filling) meals

As far as meals go I think it requires a lot of imagination. Eating out could be difficult.
Do vegans wear leather shoes?

No
I think that you also have to make the difference between someone who follows a plant based diet and a vegan. A vegan wouldn't use ANY animal products in their life. (clothing, toiletries etc)
My trainers are charity shop plastic.
Vegetarian can be fun and noisy and smelly under the duvet?
But who cares?
It's fun!
