Try to dial a number and there is just silence, you think it hasnt connected but it has and is actually ringing but you can't hear it. Does not correct itself unless phone is turned off then on again.
Also, only seems to have reception 50% of the time. Im with orange and have never had trouble with reception before so can only assume it is the phone.
I'm sorry this is soooooooooooo off track but really just had to say to unruliejulie.......what a totally fantastic user name, wish i'd thought of that one ;-)
I asked if anyone had this phone ages ago and i only got one reply from someone who thought it was fantastic. That has made me a bit wary now but it might just be a faulty phone you have rather than the whole make that's no good. It is so sleek though isn't it but i need performance as well as good looks, just like my men!!! lol ;-) The other phone i am considering is the samsung E900.
why thank you for that mismuppet, yours is a good one too! It is a name that an old friend of mine always used to call me years ago and he is now in America so its a bit of a homage to him! Sums me up nicely too!!!! lol
angel, i have had a Samsung D500 for the last 18months but i do get problems with that too. It freezes sometimes I do love it though so i dont want a rubbish one in exchange.
my other half has the LG chocolate, The sound is excellent, the alarm wakes me up on a morning which is really something, however the reception is c**p, he is also on orange, never had a problem before, but can't ring or answer the phone in our house, has to walk to the bottom of the garden to get a signal.
im glad i saw this thread. I think i'll give it a miss after reading through all these problems. I need my phone because my hubby works away a lot so its important that it gives me maximum reliability.
id go witht he samsung, ive got the d600 and i love it, im definately going to go with a samsung for my next phone, other half has one aswell and neither of us have had trouble!
