Hi Does the throwing of stones at your window merit a 999 call or should it be reported as a non emergency matter?

Non emergency unless there is an immediate danger to someone.

Non emergency
Depends how big and how often, if it's a brick then 999 but not if kids are just throwing pebbles about.
Who is in danger of life or limb ? Are the windows bring smashed in ?
Is this serious ? Maybe some detail has been omitted.
Well, the Police do say that you should phone 999 if the crime is still being committed. If the perpetrators have disappeared you should call 101
And they'll be around a week next Tuesday if they can find someone available.
^When the Traveller kids were fireing powered catapults at my next door neighour's patio window, the police were around within minutes. That wouldn't have happened if she had called 101

Do you live in an odd or an even numbered house?
that can make a difference as to whether they attend or not
