What is the best way to try and find somebody that you lost touch with a few years ago.All I have is the name, last address, but they have both drawn a blank with BT,old neighbours and Friends Reunited. Are there other ways I can try and find my friend that I haven't thought of?
Many thanks in advance.xx

i know - theyve even got my ex on there and I cant remove him!!
Hi PinkFizz, have you tried Traceline, which is part of the General Register Office. You have to pay for the service and they may not manage to find your friend, but it might be worth considering.
Have a look at their website:
http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/research/tra celine/index.asp#0
If the link doesn't work, just type 'Traceline' into google and you'll find it..
Another site which might be useful is

Good Luck
