I Failed All Subjects. What Shouls I Do?
24 Answers
Today was my AS result and I failed all three subjects; physics, maths, and chemistry. I don't think I can even pass retakes so my parents suggested that I repeat the year. I think I should change my subjects because I don't believe that I'll be ever able to pass physics or chemistry. It's beyond my reach, goes over my head and lands somewhere I don't know the whereabouts of. Math, though, I understand it a little but the paper was very difficult. Should I change physics and chemistry to computer studies and economics? I really want to be an actuary, I know it's hard, but I did good at CS in O'Levels. I've never studied economics before. Please help.

"I really want to be an actuary," - not being funny mate but if physics and chemistry are beyond you and maths you understand "a little" then actuarial studies are in the next valley. If you have some Idea of quantitative methods have a go at computer studies by all means. Tell you what, work out how many light years in a ParSec using only a calculator and you may have a chance.
“I do like CS but I don't like the work related to it. Coding, designing, softwares, I hate it.”
You really are not cut out for a “brainy” career. That’s no insult to you, it’s just that everything you’ve mentioned that smacks of academia you either dislike or cannot cope with.
“Not really. Plus, I am a girl.”
Is it impossible for females to work as plumbers or electricians in Pakistan? Here in the UK, when hiring staff (and doing many other things) it is illegal to discriminate against somebody based on their sex and there are plenty of female plumbers, electricians and even airline pilots. I imagine it’s somewhat different there.
“I expect you're already aware of this NJ, but I believe it's the American and Canadian designation…”
Yes I was aware, canary. That’s why I hate it :-)
