How on earth can the team and the fans face the rest of the season, when in the 5 matches played so far, they have lost 11-1, 11-1, 6-0, 10-0, 10-0.
Last season they lost 16-0 in the game away to Brora.

Given that the team has finished in bottom place for 14 of the past 20 years, their fans must be quite hardened to failure by now ;-)

Mind you, if I lived up there, I reckon that I could probably think of something better to spend seven quid on than a ticket to watch my local team.
Yep must be die hard fans to keep watching their team get mauled week after week.
It's not the winning but the taking part that counts.
That must be Fort William F.C's fans philosophy, sandy.
There aren't many of them though, Tony. Their ground holds 4000 spectators but you probably wouldn't have to fight for a ticket.

I've just googled to find the attendance at one of their games this season, with the match against Formartine United back in April being the first one that I've managed to find:
"Attendance: 94"
PS: I wonder how many of those 94 spectators were visiting fans?

The actual number of Fort William fans at the game might only have been a dozen or two.
LOL, a decent pub team would get that sort of attendance in my neck of the woods Chris ( mind you I don't think that they would if their results were anything like Fort Williams ).

They must really enjoy playing football to go and get beaten every week. I suppose that there will be a pint or two or beer consumed after the match.
