I once lived in Suffolk and reported a prowler. But i only wanted it noted on the system because i saw him off. Imagine my surprise 30 mins later to have 12 police officers in my house! That was as exciting as it got there in the old days!

I consider myself to be an honorary northerner (having lived in Sheffield for a couple of decades) and I've still got some very good friends up there. So I find it safest to stay out of 'north v south' arguments. (That's except, of course, when 'north' means Norfok and 'south' means Suffolk. Then it's no holds barred!)
