time the plug was pulled on this silly tv programme. how excited can you get about picking random numbered boxes? Noel edmons gets so worked up on every episode cos he is paid to do so. There is no skill involved, just the abillity to pick a number. Sad TV!!! Bring back Tiswas! At least that was funny unlike deal or no deal. boring!!!!!!!!!!

over the top with the emotions I think, but still a good game..
hardly sit on the edge of the seat type stuff and there is definitely no skill involved, further there is no audience participation.
Bit like watching one person playing the lottery...
the only input the audience can put in is guessing what the banker will offer...

It always puzzles me how people pick their numbers. IT'S RANDOM!! They'd have just as much chance of getting the small numbers out if they just went round the other contestants, or opened the boxes in numerical order. Drives me mad!!!

I think it's quite a good show! OTT with the emotions tho I agree lol.
The only thing that annoys me is when Noel says something like; "Don't destroy Paul's dreams by revealing red Rachel!" just as someone is about to open a box. It's not like it's the poor person opening the boxes fault! It's the contestant that picked that number! yet Noel blames the other one! Should imagine it upsets some people who are made to feel they have ruined someone's life!

Don't you find it strange that there are seven 1p winners and no �250k winners when there are the same odds of choosing one box from 22?

I have to disagree - I really enjoy the programme. Yes there is no skill and yes its random boxes. Its all down to the luck of the draw. But people have their own "lucky numbers" and hope they will go away a winner. Noel Edmonds makes it exciting and tense.

I know there hasn't been a �250,000 winner but a few people have had it in their box, but took the offer rather than the gamble of opening the box. Probably because it was a high amount offered and its "real" money. I think if you are left with a 1p and another blue, the gamble is not so great so more people go for it!

yeah thats true. i think the chances are slim also because it takes a certain person to have the extra courage to take the gamble, and of course it takes the correct box to be with that person. more chance of someone winning quarter million if they have 2 quite high numbers left so either way they wouldnt really lose. anyway, i love the show! and the people who say its no skill, well thats kinda true i guess but the people in the chair do need to decide whether to deal or no deal and think about their chances of opening certain boxes and whether they can win more! really thick people might not understand the odds lol!
