Do You Think Vaping Will Be Found To Be As Dangerous As Smoking?

I have heard that Vaping can bring on something called 'popcorn lung' which seems just as bad as the effects of normal cigarette smoking. As vaping is relatively new i think its effects are not fully understood and people are replacing one dangerous habit for another?

Smoking smells far worse than vaping, but the latter produces far more steam. If given a choice between the two I would prefer to be around the latter, but it's still irritating and a bit obnoxious.

Kromovaracun, irritating maybe; but other people are routinely irritating and we just have to put up with them. Obnoxious? No, personally, I think that greatly overstates it. Cars belching out CO2 are obnoxious (but permitted in their millions); vaping doesn't even come close, in my book.

Car fumes don't smell of tropical fruit, or licorice, or candied civet droppings or whatever flavour is being used. I am used to car fumes a waft of synthetic flavour/ fragrance makes me feel pukey

The comparison to cars or chip shops or whatever, doesn't work. Cars have a function, they get you from A to B, chip shops aren't tolerated, they're enjoyed. Smoking and vaping though are unnecessary, done purely because the smoker/vaper decides they will, and affects all around them adversely for no good reason.

no reason why they should be allowed to kill people while they do, though. It's always possible to lower the permitted emissions limit.
