My ex who is the one introduced me into drugs and made me feel like I was absolutely worthless to this world apparently has found God and has completely changed his life around for the better. Is it really possible for someone was once so evil to completely change their thought patterns and personality to become a better person??

It is. But it’s rare and should be treated with caution and a weather-eye on any signs of a relapse!

It is indeed. It looks like he's done it!

Yep.
Yes, but dont go back if that ever crosses your mind. I always feel that the ones who change because they have 'found God' have just exchanged one addiction for another. That personality flaw is still there.
Can't argue with that!
ditto Rowan..
Well put rowan.
When people with a dubious past "find" God in their midlife, it's invariably for self gain, or to pull the wool over people's eyes.

His not in prison perchance?

In any case, give him a wide berth. He'll only cause you heartache.

Thank you guys. I have a boyfriend now. But I do catch myself thinking things like "Where was this version of you when we were dating??" and I start to sometimes wander in thought and miss him a little bit because he is finally being the person I knew he could always be.. Because I believe that there is good in everyone, but it is sometimes suffocated wether it be by influences or choices or anything.. But then i snap back to reality.
Good luck to you as well
