Largest spider I've ever seen just ran at my bare feet. I just managed to lift them in the air.
It's about 1.5" across and boy can it move!
OH isn't here to remove it!

When I lived abroad we had a tiny gecko which we saw occasionally.

We considered it a friend, as they eat cockroaches (and not humans)

Wolf, I had a cat that was the same, he'd hunt for ages to get a big crunchy one then play with it until the legs dropped off before eating it.

I held a tarantula once. In North Devon Zoo at
Combe Martin. I couldn't tell from his face if he liked me or not so I gave him straight back to his keeper. :o)

A woman I knew had tarantula s, she said they made great pets .... no they do not..... nor do giant cockroaches, and all the other oversized creepy crawlers she like to share photos of.
