Love both groups, don't think there are many groups of the punk era that weren't influenced by Lou Reed...same could be said for Stooges and the New York Dolls. Don't think the Only Ones were particularly guilty, certainly not vocally. Still think Only Ones first album was absolute classic of melancholy, doom -ladden self-tortured lyrics.
