Jo, I could say that I don't know but that would be false, you know her too....I haven't written my cards yet - but maybe we should send her sixty cards and sixty silly things, like matches, paper towel sheets, clothes pegs, bricks for her porch, tubs of pink stuff, pink fluffy wool etc.

I work in a card shop and I haven’t even seen them come in yet. Nobody has mentioned them either.

Haven’t seen any either. Have seen the mountains of sweetie tins though. Can we not just get Halloween out the way first?

There was a time when I thought the first sign of Winter on its way was when I saw crumpets in the shops but I think they can be found pretty much all year round now.

Selfridge's Christmas department's been open for weeks. I haven't visited so I don't know if they're selling cards, though.

I saw some a few days ago in the M&S at Clarks Village but that's an outlet so I guess they want to get rid of old stock. They were quite nice and I was a bit tempted but I like to look for cards near to Christmas - it's part of the fun.
